Itinerant surfer Marty travels to Coral Bay on the Ningaloo Reef in search of a missing cousin. Everybody knows more than he does but nothing is as it seems. He teams up with English waitress Rose, looking for her backpacker brother. They discover a people smuggling racket but there's something more sinister. Eliminating Marty becomes top of the smugglers’ agenda but they don’t reckon on a bungarra named Horatio. Marty sees things in a different light during a night dive on the reef.
