The Revolutionary is the story of Weldon, a young working class man caught up in the revolutionary fervor of Chicago in the late '60s. In a riot on LSD Weldon runs over a cop. He manages to escape with the aid anarchist friends he was attempting to protect. In remorse and feelings of better judgement Weldon attempts to "retire" from the revolution. This he finds to be more difficult than ever imagined as the revolution is a cultural landscape of shifting values anarchy and confusing hedonism leading to his eventual attempts to disappear.
