This book began as a typographical error. Not the ordinary type of error - pardon the pun - that demanded the use of white-out or Correc-Tape. But an entirely electronic misstep, born of the then-new age of personal computers. It was immediately apparent on the screen that the result of a mis-directed finger on the keyboard had become a fortuitous combination of ideas that had not previously played well together - in other words a little monster. The book began to grow out of this notion and thereby itself became a monster, a hybrid creature in both form as well as content. The ongoing product (which changes its color according to the reader’s eyes) subverts the conventional usage of language forms by combining the methods of expository prose with the methods of narrative fiction.
