The residents of the sleepy little Virginia town of Apple Grove get more than they bargained for when a flamboyant TV psychic, Collin Shane, pays them a visit to investigate their haunted Civil War battlefield for his reality program. Old fears from the past are rekindled by a series of strange events that occur just outside of town at the site of the original battle, in a dark and foreboding place aptly named Bleak Woods.
