Book Three of the Do Not Go Gentle series continues the story as we follow the scientists and technologists who are trying to understand and prepare for the coming black hole which will eject Earth into interstellar space. Book Three explores themes of cognitive enhancement, mood control, as well as the dangerous downside to neural plasticity that is exploited by those bent on disrupting preparations. Many puzzles and questions from earlier parts of the story are resolved, and by the end of Book Three, the stage has been set for massive social changes beyond anything yet seen, and for the arrival of Kali, which happens in the upcoming Book Four: Year Zero.
