When a heat wave hits Massachusetts in July 2011, Julie Paxton decides to leave her apartment in Boston and go stay for four weeks with her longtime friend Amy Hatheway. Amy's home is located on Cape Cod. The seashore breezes and cooler temperatures of the Cape will be a pleasant change from the steamy summer conditions of the city.
