I have written this collection of short stories with the intention of entertaining, provoking, amusing, mystifying and horrifying the reader. Every writer develops a unique style, but originality evolves by reconnecting pre-existing ideas in new ways. Subconsciously, I know that several great authors have influenced my work. To name a few, Philip K Dick, Thomas Hardy, Guy de Maupassant and D H Lawrence are some, but there are hundreds more I could have mentioned.
Although all the stories fall into the horror genre, the events and characters cover a range of sub-genres, including: psychological thrillers, suspense, mystery, para-normal, science fiction and of course, pure terror.
My aim is to place believable, but flawed characters, into fictional fantasies.
