I particularly enjoyed the descriptions of Cuba and Ithought the author did a good job of evoking the beaches and resorts of Cuba. Ifelt I was in the middle of the sultry weather and that made the character'sbehaviour and misbehaviour all the more believable. The author intertwined theparallel story lines very well, between sunny Cuba and snowy Toronto, settingthe reader up for a number of unexpected developments. And he wrapped all thevarious threads up to a most satisfying conclusion.
