Many people claim to be a Christian, which is a good thing, if you actually are a Christian. What I mean is, well-meaning people, individuals that have responded to the call of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to repent, respond and mutter a few words of repentance. And stop there. But repenting is just the first step. The next step is to be baptized. Then begin your journey in growing in your faith in Jesus Christ. This is called being discipled. This was the command of our Lord, “Make disciples!” (Matthew 28:19) There is a lot of information that needs to be learned by the new believer, and in some cases more mature believers.
