This easy to make crochet pattern creates a beanie hat with a difference! For extra fun I have embellished the hat with a cute little bunny, which is detachable. Wear your beanie with the bunny and you're sure to be noticed, or remove the bunny from the horizontal strap to present a more subtle style statement.The beanie is one size (measuring 18"/45.75 cm around the base but will stretch to fit up to 24"/61 cm) which will fit most. The hat length from the base to the top is approximately 8 ½ inches (21.5 cm) but you can adjust this measurement if you need to. You will only need one 2 oz skein (50 g ball) of light worsted (double knitting/8 ply) yarn in the main color for the beanie, and an oddment of sock/light fingering weight yarn (3 ply) in white (or your color of choice) to make the bunny.
