This is a small collection of my memoirs. I grew up in New York City in the 1950's-1960's living in 4 foster homes. I never knew or learned who my father was. My mother had visitation rights to see me at supervised visits at the foster agency until I was 4 years old when she was committed to a New York State mental hospital after attempting to remove me from the first foster home. At age 17, I started to live alone without support from the foster agency or anyone else.I started to work at a very young age and held numerous jobs including being a New York City probation officer and a New York State parole officer when New York City was a dangerous place to live. These memoirs, which hopefully you find interesting, tell you something of my life.
