Despite his struggle with depression, Mark accepts an invitation to join his college professor on asteroid XB12 where quadrium, a potentially limitless energy source, originates from. The mundane work is offset by the excitement of exploration, but Mark’s dreams, in which he’s visited by a patronizing and mysterious guide, are getting worse and more vivid. Before long, he starts to question where the dreams end and reality begins. The course of the already tenuous mission is altered with the discovery of a perfectly preserved cave lined with life-size carvings resembling armored warriors on the asteroid’s surface. But a sudden catastrophe throws the mission into chaos, and the carvings in the cave may not be simple carvings at all.
