I recently took a road trip to Sabie and celebrated my 76th birthday there, but that is only part of the reason that I went there. Marguerite and I am so grateful that I am still alive. I am a stroke survivor, and I am a keen believer that if an individual is given hope and encouragement after such a devastating incident, that many individuals have the ability to find the inner strength to rebuild their lives and to rediscover how brave they can be. We also went to Sabie to make some videos to place on my website and on other social media platforms. My message is to never give up, and to believe that individuals are powerful enough to overcome adversity.I was overwhelmed by people’s reaction all along our road trip.
