The great thing about the way the media treats our sporting stars when the Olympics are on, is they only tend to focus on what the person got right. The journalists forget about the mistakes that may have happened in the personal life of the champion… that they are interviewing or writing about.
Everyone’s complete focus is on the one time when this person got it right and won their sporting event. They got a gold medal and all the glory that comes from winning an Olympic gold medal.
