I did not act alone in my crime. That sly bastard Colm Darby got away with murder. I don't even know if he's a suspect and if that be the case then I have a mind to grass him up. I've followed that criminal code of never snitching on your accomplices for the best part of my life, but why should I take such a beating and walk to the gallows when another man was first to pull his trigger?! Never kill a copper because his mates really will inflict an almighty beating on you before they string you up for the drop. My fate is sealed so I might as well tell you how I ended up in this situation before my life is done and they lower back to the earth!
