Our RedemptionWe’ve come to the zenith of Hope and the unbearable weight of glory revealed to us in Christ. The early stages of the Incarnation could no way have been fully realized without the rising of Christ from the dead on the third day. There are two themes which run side by side in the Gospel. On the one hand Jesus says that the Kingdom of God is at hand and that people must repent and change their hearts. On the other hand, Jesus begins to tell his disciples that he must suffer, die and rise again. These two themes are the essence of the Gospel.
