Exercise of FreedomThe first benefit we receive from persecution is an exercise of freedom under grace. When we are persecuted by others for our religious beliefs that come from Jesus Christ and his Gospel we have the ability freely to choose which side we want to be on, again. Because we have the gift of freedom, we can use it to further ourselves along the path of truth and goodness.
