I wrote this when I was trying to figure out if I should move to Berlin to be with my German girlfriend. After spending a year and a half living in Australia and New Zealand (with a few trips to Thailand and Indonesia), we had been through more than most couples that have been together in twice the time.
Still, it was hard for me to wrap my mind around the idea that I would leave the comfort of my home town to go be with a girl who didn't seem like she was that into me to begin with.
