Ex-bank robber, Tom Cole, is struggling. He is trying to go straight, but his divorce has cost him, and his business is suffering cashflow problems. So, his ex-wife calling at midnight to tell him that their son, Joey, has been arrested on a charge of possessing cannabis, seems insignificant in comparison. But, after routine DNA testing at the local police station, Joey is identified in relation to a recent rape case, and the police are seemingly sitting pretty. Tom has had enough. To prove his son innocent, he decides to go back to his roots and enlist the aid of a local crime family. But, nothing comes cheap.
