When I think of my chief and the rest of the host abandoning their stations for the very short pleasure of joining with strange flesh; I recoil at what naive notions 'not stealing' and 'not lying' have become.
Their base treachery was the ultimate theft, stealing from the ONE. Their motivations were all rooted in self pity, the lonely abandon of our station and the courtship of doubt.
The doubt was the worst; doubt that the ONE still remembered us; doubt that They still cared; doubt that our reward was in the waiting, if we would only carry out the task before us.
