Mary CaresThe thesis for this books is that Mary cares for the children of God with a love so powerful that it stays with them from birth to death; in other words, Mary’s love for each of God’s children os life-long and continuous. The thesis is not my own, but is taken from the teachings of the Second Vatican Council document Lumen Gentium. (LG, 61-62) First of all, what does Mary’s care mean to us who are on their pilgrimage to heaven? For one thing Mary’s care means having a relationship with God’s Mother as if we were her actual children and not just adopted children. In the order of grace we are God’s children by adoption.
