This is the script for a 40 minute stage play for six female actors with minimal staging. Set during a modern production of “The Importance of Being Earnest”, it is described as “A Tasteless Comedy for People of Refinement”. This was written for The Theatre of the Unemployed and first performed at Birmingham’s Festival of Acting and Musical Entertainment. There is no per-performance charge for performing this play, although we reserve the right to change this with fair notice in the future. All we ask is that each cast member buys a copy of the script, the author be credited, and we'd appreciate any constructive feedback.
