Understand this truth, is to realize one's dependence on God, because man is primarily a creature, which means that it is not itself give life, and that its started there in itself. And although endowed with an immortal soul, no one in himself there is no possibility of blessed life independently of God, as if he were guaranteed bliss itself. Instead, the bliss we are given a gift from God, in his words of life and the foods they are won. That's why God sent to us His Son to be the Incarnate Word by which we come divine teachings and the food of eternal life. Without it we can not have life in yourselves, nor make a fundamental goal to which we aspire - eternal life, which gives us himself to speak in today's Gospel passage.
