Carly Eubanks returns to Mineola to attend her aunt's funeral. She is touched by nostalgia when attending this event and spending time with family she hasn't seen in a while. She decides to drive down the street where she grew up in Mineola before catching her plane back to California. There, in front of her childhood home, she sees a work crew who are just about to cut down the tree she played in as a little girl.
