Dunno The Happy Scarecrow is a children's book set in the Australian Outback. The Happy Scarecrow has been named Dunno by his Australian animal friends, because he didn't have a name and when asked by the animals what his name was, he said 'dunno'. The animals suggested then that they name the Happy Scarecrow, Dunno. And that is how he got his name. Dunno the Happy Scarecrow and his animal friends go fence hopping to meet new animals on their nightly adventures whilst Farmer Brown is sleeping. But Dunno must always get back to his stake in the wheat fields before sunrise to keep the wheat ears safe. This is a story of one of the nightly adventures with Dunno the Happy Scarecrow and his Australian animal friends.
