Sue is a respected Sheriff’s Deputy. When Sheriff Grimes is killed in a hit and run accident, Sue is assigned to investigate. Her investigation causes confrontations with a senior officer. In the middle of her work on solving the case an election is held for a replacement for Grimes. She decides to run for Sheriff in competition with the senior officer.
