Tom is successful by the measure of most. He is CFO at a small but lucrative internet startup company and engaged to a young Physician's Assistant. They live together in a designer rehabbed loft where property values are nearly worth their square footage in gold. With all of these seemingly tangible reasons for happiness he is miserable. His engagement has been more like a 3 year standoff and he is disenchanted with his career or lack thereof.
