In the early seventies, my band, Silver Dynamite, transformed popular music with our trilogy of albums, 'Dungeons of Darkness', 'Dungeons of Doom', 'Dungeons of Despair'. I formed the band in my home town of Nuneaton, in the mid-sixties, with my best friend Terry Atherstone. After the release of three, poor to mediocre albums, we hit the big time with 'Dungeons'. For a while we enjoyed the speeding train of fame, but inevitably we hit the buffers.In the same disastrous year, we lost our drummer, 'Crazy' Kenny Campbell, and, worse still, my best friend and lead singer, Terry.Terry had become heavily involved with a cult, or pseudo religion, the Recreationists of Sion, who were based in California.
