Marco Gennaro was raised in Italy, under the corrupt rule of his father, King Victor Emmanuel II. It was decided before his birth, that Marco would not be a prince, and never be allowed any claim to the Italian throne. Despite this, the powers that be at Italian court are depending on Marco to act as a diplomat at Spanish court.
