I had no intensions of writing another book after (ACC to 4/7th RDG in 22years) but I had more story's to tell and (Time waits for no man) fills in all the gaps that I missed throughout my army service. To be quite honest I got the writing bug and I really enjoyed it and found it very relaxing. Time waits for no man commences from where my first book finished and the story is in flash back mode from the early 70s, 80s and 90s. The last 6 months is the sub story and takes place in the TA centre in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. It begins on the ferry at the end of my last book and I have just woken up with a bit of an hang over, it had been a very emotional day for me after leaving my Regiment the 4/7th RDG for the very last time, I do think I could pass it off as a stand alone book however I think the first book would give you a better picture into the characters.
