In the year 2031, a shuttle of nine astronauts depart on a mission to procure the final fragments of information needed for human habitation to begin on an alternate planet, dubbed Earth 2.0. However, as they're returning home from what will be called the expedition of a lifetime, they find that their shuttle has gone off course and they're headed for uncharted territory. And what they find once their shuttle lands is a place that the scientists back on their home planet would love to explore, filled with oddities that are nearly beyond comprehension—but the only thing the astronauts who are stranded there want is to survive and possibly make their way back to Earth.
