“The Story of a Solid Rock” is a short story about the meaning of being a good friend. Many of us see ourselves as being "solid as a rock" for others, or need others to be “solid as a rock” for us. However, this expression is sometimes confusing; it means being stable and reliable, something we want in our lives, but some may think that reliability or stability also means being devoid of emotion or lacking empathy, a characteristic we don't want to show to our friends, or our friends to show to us. This book tries to explain what a true “solid as a rock” friend is: stable and reliable, and also full of empathy, someone that will always be there and who will love you no matter what.
