Writing is my thinly veiled excuse to play with words and language. When the words and stars align, a compelling story forms. Or, more often, I patch together adequate stories such as these contained within this volume. My apologies in advance to the English language for twisting and bending it to my purposes.Some of these stories have surprise endings, all are intended to be humorous, ironic, or satirical. Many contain (sometimes obscure) cultural references. More than a few are wildly imaginative. Some are set in real places, while others are set in surreal places... I pray that none of them are predictable.I have amused myself while writing these stories and assembling this compilation. If only a tiny fraction of that enjoyment is passed along to you... well, worse things have happened, no? Thank you for reading!
