This book displays sidewalk art and messages created by Santa Clara Valley families that began to appear soon after California Governor Gavin Newsom's March 17th, 2020 order to Shelter In Place. Schools, business offices, stores, restaurants and factories were closed. Suddenly families were together all day. The Covid pandemic had arrived.The author photographed hundreds of sidewalk art drawings and messages during his neighborhood walks, runs and bike rides between March and August of 2020.There were chalk drawings of animals, people, games, hearts, flowers common objects and copies of known characters and art.
