An ancient document preserved in the State of Venice, reports the mysterious case and far away in time, the wife of a podestà Venetian, Diletta, who in 1200 ended her life burned at the stake as a witch, in the square main Montona in Istria. The story is mysterious, because it was the same husband denounce and condemn her wife. He was suspected by the same Venetian authorities of murder, but managed, through his knowledge and relationships important to get by. It is through the charges moves to his wife, the analysis of their spells and witchcraft regularly reported in the document, can be traced back to the real reason that brought his wife.
