Twenty seven year old, Sheamus O'Brian, born and raised in Ireland, is asked by his parents to go on an adventure in America. The O'Brian family has been farming the same land in Ireland for generation, alas, corn does not grow well in Ireland. A young American widow, Tesa O'Malley, intends to change all that, with her underdeveloped hybrid corn seed, which could change the outlook in Ireland forever. Sheamus's father, Aaden O'Brian, makes contact with Tesa, via the internet. She informs him of the challenges she's facing in Iowa. Aaden quickly comes to her aid, by sending their youngest child, Sheamus, to assist in any way he can. Sheamus is reluctant at first, but is rapidly captivated by Tesa's charm.
